Situated in Saint Paul, this zoo and conservatory features a variety of animal exhibits along with beautiful botanical gardens.

  • Opening Date: 1897.
  • Unique Aspects: Owned by the City of Saint Paul, it’s a division of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation. It’s the first zoo established in Minnesota, started with a donation of three deer. The park and zoo are free, relying on voluntary donations.
